I was once a victim of Anhedonia, a condition characterized by the inability to experience pleasure, leading to a significant reduction in interest or satisfaction in almost all my activities of life.

My journey took a turn for the worse when he suffered a leg injury at work. Despite the physical pain, I tried to ignore it, focusing instead on his responsibilities after all someone has to pay the bills. However, the physical pain coupled with my existing mental health condition pushed him to his lowest point.

Hitting rock bottom was a wake-up call for me. I realized that he could no longer ignore my mental and physical health. This realization marked the beginning of a journey towards recovery and self-discovery.

I sought professional help and started attending therapy sessions. He learned about the importance of mental health and the role it plays in overall well-being. His experiences in therapy, although challenging, were enlightening and sparked a desire within him to help others facing similar struggles.

Motivated by his personal experiences and the transformation i witnessed in myself through therapy, I decided to become a counsellor. I pursued the necessary education and training, committed to providing the support and guidance I once needed to any one how may need it.
