Mindfulness workshops

The primary aim of these workshops is to teach participants vital skills to manage stress and anxiety, build confidence and resilience, and improve overall well-being. Here are some examples of mindfulness workshops:

Managing Change with Mindfulness: This workshop introduces change as an inevitable, ongoing, natural process, affecting all of us, all of the time. It shares research about mindfulness and readiness for change and provides mindfulness practices that can help us to calm our body and mind, increase our self-awareness during change, and balance negative thoughts and feelings with more optimistic ones.

Mindfulness for Self Care: In this workshop, participants learn about the different ways that mindfulness can help develop self-awareness. Through increased self-awareness, we can recognize when we are at risk mentally and emotionally and can take action to nurture our wellbeing and balance.

Mindfulness in Public Speaking: This workshop provides an introduction to mindfulness and explains how the practice of mindfulness can lead to better communication and, in particular, more effective speaking in public.

Mindfulness for Digital Overload: This workshop addresses the stress that can come from our reliance on digital devices for work, home life, social life, and relaxation.

These workshops are designed to be experiential, focusing on exercises and discussions of participants’ experiences, with a minimal amount of theory. The group size is usually manageable so that everybody contributes and shares within the time available.
